PPF Life Insurance

PPF Life Insurance company, which is focused on life insurance products and services in Russia, is fully controlled by the PPF Group, following the settlement of the transaction between PPF and Generali Group in March, 2013.

The PPF Group has operated on the insurance markets of Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States for 17 years. Over that period, it has earned a reputation as an experienced and highly professional player in the sector. The restructuring of the Czech Insurance Company (Česká pojišťovna, one of the oldest insurers in Europe) is an example of one of PPF Group’s successful projects. Thanks to the optimisation of its business processes, Česká pojišťovna was able to improve the quality of its client services, to retain its leading positions in the Czech insurance market over the long term and enter the markets of a number of new countries, including Russia.

PPF Life Insurance is a successful insurer in Russia. It started from scratch in 2002 but it has become one of the leaders of the life insurance market in Russia within a period of just over 10 years, competing with hundreds of insurers in this market segment.

At the end of 2012, PPF Life Insurance ranked 13th in the general ranking of all life insurance companies in Russia (by volume of gross written premiums). The company’s business – retail insurance developed through its own sales network, as well as via co-operation with Russian insurance brokers and other partners – shows a high rate of growth. The network of PPF Life Insurance’s partners in Russia currently includes 4000 people.

PPF Life Insurance was awarded the highest ranking of reliability (A++) by Expert RA, which is a leading Russian analyst agency.
