PPF Life Insurance reports 1H 2016 results: steady growth in written premiums collected

The results for the first half of 2016 indicate that the amount of the written premiums collected by PPF Strakhovanie zhizni (PPF Life Insurance) continues to grow at a steady rate.
The volume of written premiums collected by PPF Life Insurance continues to grow: in the first half of 2016 it climbed to RUB 1.4 billion. This is 4% more than in the first half of 2015.
The company’s insurance agent network contributed the most to the total revenue from written premium: through this channel, sales of all types of insurance policies exceeded RUB 1.1 billion. Sales of long-term savings plans amounted to RUB 1.1 billion and those of pension plans to more than RUB 221 million.
As at 30 June 2016, the Company’s assets amounted to RUB 9.2 billion and its claim reserves stood at RUB 7.1 billion.
Over the first six months of 2016, PPF Life Insurance paid out more than RUB 420 million to clients in settlements under all types of insurance policies.
Vít Sedláček, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PPF Life Insurance, said: “We see positive growth dynamics in the volume of written premiums collected by our company. A similar trend is apparent in the entire industry. Savings life policies continue to gain in attractiveness, since people’s need for reliable financial protection remains constant.”
